Staging an Apartment

When representing an exclusive sales listing, it may be wise to stage an Apartment. If staged properly and efficiently, the seller may be able to obtain a higher purchase price for the sale of their property.

Every seller has a different goal in mind. Some want to maximize the purchase price and do not mind investing a small amount to stage the unit and make minor renovations. However, other sellers want to leave “as is” and do as little work as possible.

It is also my opinion to make small enhancements and stage properly, as the return on investment is worthwhile.

Several reasons to Stage an Apartment

1. Visualization – It can help the prospective buyer visualize the Apartment
2. Presentation – Staging an Apartment with simple, elegant design can help hide any potential flaws and show how beautiful the home can be

When staging an Apartment, it is common to add items such as bedroom sets, kitchen tables and chairs, end-tables, living room furniture, Art and other items that may help show the unit in the best possible manner. Keep in mind, each Apartment is different and will require different staging and finishing touches.
