Windsor Terrace is a special pocket of Real Estate relatively unknown to many residents in the Tri-State area. As a native of New Jersey and Manhattan, Brooklyn was distant to me for many years. Once I began selling Real Estate in New York City, my line of work gradually expanded to other neighborhoods. These quickly began to include Williamsburg, Fort Greene, Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn Heights, Flatbush and now Windsor Terrace.

Situated next to Prospect Park, Windsor Terrace is a little enclave that provides so much charm. In fact numerous celebrities including Steve Buschemi have lived there for many years. Only a 20 minute commute from Manhattan, this charming neighborhood offers splendid townhomes built at the turn of the 20th century.

1 sherman Street was my first listing in Windsor Terrace, a charming two-family home with more than 2,000 square feet of living space. Even more rare was the private garage this property offered. The neighbors were extremely friendly and the community felt like one big family. In fact, I was fortunate enough to meet many of the locals as they visited our Open Houses on a frequent basis simply to introduce themselves.

When first listing the property in early 2022, we received feedback stating the property was overpriced and it would never sell in the current condition. However, after some repositioning of our marketing strategy and a slight adjustment on price, we finally sold the house to a lucky buyer.
